Featuring a plant-based patty made by Beyond Meat, the McPlant burger is finally making its US debut at McDonalds in select cities next month.

The McPlant will be available for a limited time at eight McDonalds locations in Irving, TX; Carrollton, TX; Cedar Falls, IA; Jennings, LA; Lake Charles, LA; Manhattan Beach, CA; and El Segundo, CAthe headquarters of Beyond Meat, which is responsible for the McPlants plant-based patty.

In 2016, when Beyond Meat Founder and CEO Ethan Brown initially launched the Beyond Burger, the entrepreneur already had his sights set on McDonalds. “I’ve set a goal for the company and for myself, and it is very personal to me,” Brown told Fortune that year. “By the time my kids are 16they are 11 and 12 today–they should be able to walk into a McDonald’s or Burger King and be able to buy a Beyond Burger.”

This is personal for my family too. This definitely makes travel and socializing a little easier. Very happy to see this!
